COOKING LINE – Part 1

SECURITY GROUPS

Monolith Taps presents its ATENA family of products, cooking items.
Let’s start with security groups. It is mounted on large pots and is used to avoid overpressure to the structure of the pot. It is composed of various pieces: lung, safety valve,
vacuum valve and pressure gauge
.
The safety groups of Rubinetteria Monolith can be composed according to your needs with the elements we have available.

Monolith security groups are composed of:
a pressure gauge, a safety valve and a vacuum valve. The pressure gauge measures the pressure of the cooker structure so that the operator can keep the pressures under control. Inside the structure, the water for cooking increases in temperature and turns into steam which increases the pressure.
When the pressure reaches 0.5 bar, the safety valve opens automatically and therefore the pressure in the cavity chamber is lowered, so there is no risk of deforming the structure.
The vacuum valve works in the same way when the pressure is below -0.02 bar. Depression can be created by adding cold water when the water present is boiling.

Here is the structure of the security group.
The following 3 elements are required to support the pressure gauge, safety valve and vacuum valve: the buffer, the pressure gauge valve and the pressure gauge trap.
All our parts that make up the safety group
of Monolith Taps are in chrome-plated brass.
